Total knee arthroplasty
In case a patient cannot recover through medication and physical therapy and have difficulty walking due to chronic knee pain, total knee arthroplasty replaces the problematic joint with an artificial knee joint.
Total knee arthroplasty is a treatment method to resolve pain, restriction on activity and walking by replacing the defected area with artificial metal or special-purpose plastic.

Total joint replacement
Total joint replacement is one of the artificial joint surgeries conducted when a knee joint disease occurs. As opposed to the former replacement surgery, the surgery partially replaces severe lesions, and damage to bones and loss of bleeding are minimal with a quick recovery rate. Coxa replacement is carried out in case a patient experiences pains from erosion of articular cartilage or fracture in the hip joint of the elderly.
