EDTA Chelation Treatment
Definition
Chelation refers to a chemical reaction in which a metallic element is combined with protein and EDTA chelation treatment is based on the principle. “Chelate” is derived from the Greek word “Chele” meaning claws. The ingredient of an injection picks up heavy metal in the blood vessel like claws and excretes it in the urine.
Chelation treatment gradually injects EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) through an intravenous infusion for 1.5-3 hours. The injected EDTA travels through microvessels and blood vessels in the brain and absorbs toxic substances and heavy metal accumulated in the body to excrete them in the urine. Metals (iron, copper) and toxic elements (lead, mercury and aluminum) can be easily eliminated through EDTA chelation treatment.

Treatment methods
In accordance with the patient’s health condition, repetitive treatments, 15-40 times on average are required. Injections are administered through veins in a gradual manner for 1.5-3 hours per each shot, and 1-5 times of injections per week are recommended.
Since the success of injections depends on how many times the patient receive treatments on a regular basis, a total of 20-30 rounds of treatment over the course of 1-3 weeks are required.
